Over the last decade, Minnesota has begun to drift off course. A series of misguided policy decisions and inconsistent leadership in St. Paul have increased costs, strained public safety, and made it harder for employers and families to plan for the future.

North Star Policy exists to help restore that direction.

Our mission is to point policymakers back to true North, toward responsible approaches that strengthen communities, support working families, and create a stable environment for long-term growth. The window to correct course is narrowing, and the decisions being made today will shape Minnesota for years to come.

We focus on advancing policies that promote accountability, reinforce public safety, and ensure Minnesota remains competitive for businesses and workers alike. That means identifying and supporting leaders and advancing ideas committed to lowering costs, expanding opportunity, and restoring confidence in state leadership.
